Day 1 Welcome to Ölgii
Meet your guide on arrival in Ölgii, settle into your accommodation and discuss the days ahead over a welcome meal.
Day 2 Settle in and explore
Spend a flexible day in and around Ölgii with your guide before the festival. This buffer day also allows space for arrival adjustments.
Day 3 Festival day one
Travel to the festival grounds for the opening day. Your guide helps you follow the eagle events and cultural celebrations according to the organizers' program.
Day 4 Festival day two
Return for a second festival day, with time for scheduled competitions and celebrations. The exact program is set by the organizers.
Day 5 Meet an eagle-hunter family
Travel to your hosts' camp and learn about daily life and eagle hunting in Kazakh culture. Settle into shared family ger accommodation.
Day 6 A day with your hosts
Share a day at the family's pace, with conversation, camp life and a guided walk or ride as conditions allow. Eagle-related activities are at the hunter's discretion; handling or hunting is not guaranteed.
Day 7 Back to Ölgii
Say goodbye to your hosts and return to Ölgii. Enjoy a farewell meal and a final night in town.
Day 8 Depart Ölgii
Transfer to the airport or another agreed departure point. The tour ends in Ölgii.
