Open each day to explore the journey.
Day 1 Ölgii to the family's camp
Meet your guide in Ölgii and travel to your hosts' current camp. Settle in over tea and hear about the days ahead.
Day 2 Preparing for the move
Spend time alongside your hosts as they prepare for the next pasture. When invited, help with suitable tasks. The family decides what needs doing and when.
Day 3 Following the herd
When the family is ready, join part of their journey through the valleys. Walk or ride as arranged with your guide, with the day shaped by the herd and conditions.
Day 4 At the family's pace
Continue with the seasonal move or spend time at camp if the herd pauses. Your guide adjusts participation to the terrain, your comfort and the family's needs.
Day 5 Life at the next pasture
If your hosts have reached their next camp, see how they settle in and help when invited. If the move is still underway, continue following its rhythm. Share meals and conversation.
Day 6 Return to Ölgii
Say farewell to your hosts and return to Ölgii. Share a farewell meal and stay overnight in town before onward travel.
Day 7 Depart Ölgii
Transfer to the airport or another agreed departure point according to your confirmed arrangements. The tour ends in Ölgii.

What is the from price based on?
The from price is per person for 4 or more travelers sharing accommodation. Private trips for 1–3 travelers are quoted separately. Ask us for a quote for your group and dates.
Are migration dates guaranteed?
No. Dates are arranged with the host family. Weather, grazing conditions and the family's decisions determine when and how they move. This itinerary is illustrative: the route, sequence and number of moving days may change, and completing the whole migration is not guaranteed. We discuss the planned experience and alternatives before booking.
Can I bathe during the migration trip?
Bathing is available only at the family guesthouse in Uujim. There are no bathing facilities while staying with the migrating family. We arrange any bathing visit to Uujim separately around the migration timing; confirm these arrangements with us before booking.
